I've known for a long time that I wanted to do sculpture. I was in the middle of that semester in college when I fractured my right wrist and had to take an incomplete. Then never made it back to university... C'est la vie. I think I must have a PHD in pediatric homeopathic domestics or something, but anyways...I'm finally doing some figures in clay these days. This is the back of one that I made for my mom for her birthday. It's air dry clay so it's a bit fragile. It came to a point that when I thought about sculpting my hands would tingle.... Sometimes you just do what you gotta do no matter how many people oppose you. Thoreau and the different beat of the drum syndrome... no matter how distant or far away...Friday, March 27, 2009
