I think that means pig. Whoa Nelly! I think I nursed for about 8 years total but only one at a time. This looks like work! And to think this is what bacon and ham come from. Oh dear. This was a point of interest at the New Mexico State Fair, today.

Actually, a bovine is a cow or ox. Pictured here is a sow, or female pig.
Thank you Eric M. I was just about to correct that. Didn't know anyone was actually reading my blogs. Thanks. Maybe I'll just leave it to see if there are any other animal husbandry specialists out there. Shall we say swine?
